database - Issue with "Exceeded Data Storage" limit in one of my Salesforce Instance -


i have issue "exceeded data storage" limit in 1 of salesforce orgs.

possible solutions:

  1. buy additional data storage space salesforce.
  2. delete unwanted data , archive remaining data on periodic basis on business needs in external database.
  3. provision access archived data salesforce whenever want to. retrieval of data display of data in salesforce

my questions:

  1. there has code written in salesforce pushing data salesforce external database during archival, have write code @ database level store , retrieve data?
  2. if answer "no" can suggest affordable cloud database options operation can done seamlessly?

1)how external storage knew fields want export or salesforce fields @ all... export csv salesforce , create extrenal storage objects yourself. try match salesforce fields far can if want resore them easy you.

regarding options mention,just small clarification (option #1): know there 2 ways buy more data : 1- licences (just math because it's or 1gb or licens* if have 1 license bring 20mb upper bound 1gb 2- open case , buy storage without licenses(should cheaper)

scala - 'wrong top statement declaration' when using slick in IntelliJ -

i'm porting project scala 2.9 2.10, therefore have use slick instead of scalaquery. i'm using slick 2.1.0 since supports ms access. according this tutorial , upgrade guide changed robs object class , added val robs : why error message wrong top statement declaration , how rid of it? edit: i'm new scala... according this question seems can't put val outside of methods or classes, right? code above directly in packge. right approach slick then? should move code in class or trait? according this changed val robs = tablequery[robs] to object robs extends tablequery(new robs(_)) {} . no warnings or errors anymore. :)
